I grew up in Wollongong (which means I still refer to the Dragons as the Steelers) and entered ministry after some time working in Human Resources. Why? The short answer is: "Amazing grace. Nothing in life compares to the revelation of God's amazing grace in Jesus Christ." I believe it is my privilege to be involved in proclaiming the life changing significance of this amazing provision of God. It is also a pleasure to do such work with my wife and in partnership with such great staff and congregations.

I have been married to Michelle since 1987 and we have 4 great children. I think a day to aim for would involve some inspirational reading in the Bible to begin the day, some exercise to stave off the inevitable, watching the Steelers win, then the Swans win or the Waratahs/Wallabies play anything other than a "dour struggle". A hot dinner around the table with the family, where everyone is happy at the same time, followed by an action adventure family movie.

My main role at NCACHURCH is oversight of all the work, leading the staff team and helping set the overall direction for the ministry.

I work with women, kids and families at Cammeray morning and evening services. I love nearly everything to do with water and holidays, most things concerning food, but nothing related to traffic in Sydney. I am dying to see people from all around the world come to know Jesus.

I was raised by Christian parents and became a follower of Jesus around the age of 13. Ever since then I've been on an amazing spiritual journey. After working in IT for many years, it's now a joy and privilege to spend my week sharing Jesus with others.

I have been married to Kylie for 17 years and have three kids who are the joy of my life. I love coffee, good food and company, and relaxed Saturday mornings cooking bacon & eggs and reading the paper. I lead the morning congregation at Naremburn, as well as being responsible for encouraging and supporting the Bible Study Groups, and discipling men during the week.

I have been leading and pastoring Naremburn Asian Australian Church (NAAC) since its inception in 2004. By God's grace there are now two congregations: NAAC Morning and NAAC Evening. My main job is to teach God's word, train up the leaders and think strategically about how to reach out to the community. I am married to Jo and we have three lovely children, Sophie, Jonathan and Samuel. I love taking the kids for a swim and then having coffee while they have chocolate milkshakes. Above all, I am passionate about people coming to know the Lord Jesus and teaching them about the riches of God's grace in Christ.

After 18 years of missionary work in Japan, Cathy and I now lead the ministry to the Japanese community in our area in partnership with the Sydney Japanese Evangelical Church. Building on the core ministry of Japanese language Bible study and discipleship training, our vision is to recruit, train and export cross-cultural gospel workers. We are part of Cammeray morning congregation and are working across the congregations to promote global mission support and awareness. Our younger children, Rohan and Erina, are enjoying being part of the youth group and help out with Sunday school. I enjoy recreational cycling (except for the hills), swimming, and discovering the green parts of the North Shore. To any Japanese readers, I would like to say:
「どうぞよろしくお願いします。

I lead the evening congregation at Naremburn as well as overseeing the Youth and Children's work across NCACHURCH. I have been married to Kate for 6 years and we have two girls, Chloe and Lily. I enjoy drinking good coffee, watching bad TV and playing all sport. From time to time I step into the world of itinerant ministry, combining storytelling and magic to share the Gospel with children and adults in Sydney and beyond.

Having grown up in Sydney pretty much all my life, I am a MTS apprentice and my main role is to assist David in preaching and pastoring the NAAC Morning and NAAC Evening congregations. I love teaching the kids in the morning service but I'm also happy to mix it up with the workers in the evening congregation. I have been married to Grace since 2006 and we love finding a good bargain while grocery shopping, watching reality TV like So You Think You Can Dance and movies that appeal to all ages, including High School Musical! Above all, I love growing with others in their understanding of Jesus and I'm passionate about reading the Bible and helping people unpack all its riches and insights.

Alex Draney

Pastoral Worker

I attend Naremburn morning service with my husband, Andrew, and our three children. As a lay member of our staff team, I lead women's Bible study groups and look after the other Womens' Bible Study leaders.

I love spending time learning from the Bible alongside other women, growing in understanding of who Jesus is and what He's done for me and sharing the Christian journey with those around me. I also love a trip to the growers' markets with the family, followed by an afternoon spent cooking from scratch and then eating the spoils!
